Error: “Fail: not from a valid long-code” when replying to a text?

If you receive this error, it is most likely due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You're replying from an email address that is not on file.

    • To successfully reply to a text message, you must send your response from the email address registered with Unitel Voice.
  2. The subject line has been altered.

    • The subject line must remain exactly intact for the system to correctly route your reply as a text message.

How to Fix This Issue:

  • Verify that you are replying from the correct email address.
  • Ensure that the subject line has not been modified in any way.

If you have confirmed both of these and are still receiving the error, please forward the email response to [email protected], and our Technical Team will investigate further.
