What if I go over my plan’s allotted minutes? How will I be charged?

If you use more minutes than what’s included in your plan, you will be charged an overage rate per additional minute. The exact rate depends on your plan, but current plans have an overage rate of 3.9¢ per minute.


How Is the Overage Rate Calculated?

The 3.9¢ per minute rate applies when a call includes both:

  • The inbound leg (the call coming into your Unitel Voice system) – 1.5¢ per minute
  • The forwarding leg (when the call is forwarded to another number) – 2.4¢ per minute
  • Total overage charge: 1.5¢ + 2.4¢ = 3.9¢ per minute
  • If a call is NOT forwarded (e.g., the call goes to the app, or directly to voicemail), only the inbound leg is billed at 1.5¢ per minute.
