Music On Hold Overview, Ringtone Settings & Custom Number Options
Music On Hold is the audio callers hear while waiting on hold or while their call is ringing. By default, you can manage this setting for your account under Settings > Music On Hold.
You can choose from built-in music, upload your own MP3, record a custom message, or switch callers to hear a standard ringtone instead.

How to Change Music On Hold
Log in to your Unitel Voice dashboard.
Go to Settings > Music On Hold.
Choose your preferred option.
Click Save.
Changes may take up to 2 minutes to apply.
Available Options
Built-In Music
Select from Unitel Voice’s preloaded music selections.
Upload Your Own Audio
Upload an MP3 file (maximum 5MB).
Name the file
Click UPLOAD FILE
Ringtone
Choose a traditional ringtone instead of music.
Want Callers to Hear a Ringtone Instead?
If you prefer a classic phone experience, select Ringtone under Settings > Music On Hold.
Many businesses choose this option for a simple, professional, and familiar caller experience.
Set Different Music On Hold for Specific Numbers
By default, all phone numbers use your main Music On Hold setting. However, you can override this for individual numbers.
How to Customize Per Number
Go to Settings > Phone numbers.
Click Edit next to the phone number.
Find Music On Hold dropdown.
Change from Default to your preferred option.
Click Save.
Changes may take up to 2 minutes to apply.
