How Long Are Call Logs Stored?
Call logs are stored in your phone system for 60 days. After 60 days, they are automatically removed.
If you need to keep records longer than 60 days, we recommend downloading your logs before they expire.
Where to Find Call Logs
Log in to your dashboard and go to the Calls section.
From there, you can view different types of logs such as:
1. Inbound Calls
Calls coming into your phone system from outside callers.
You can typically see:
Date and time of call
Caller ID / phone number
Which extension or department received the call
2. Outbound Calls
Calls made from your phone system to outside numbers.
You can typically see:
Date and time of call
Number dialed
Extension or user who placed the call
3. Dial Out Calls
Calls placed using the Dial-Out feature, where an authorized number (such as your cell phone) calls an access number and places outbound calls through the system.
This feature must be enabled separately under:
Settings > Extras
4. Recorded Calls (must be enabled)
If your account includes Call Recording, recorded calls will appear in the logs.
You can typically:
Listen to recordings
Download recordings
View call time and duration
This feature must be enabled separately under:
Settings > Extras
5. Recorded Conferences (must be enabled)
If conference recording is enabled, recorded conference calls will appear here.
You can typically view:
Start and end time
Participants
Recording availability
This feature must be enabled separately under:
Settings > Extras
Search & Filter Logs
Use search and filter tools to quickly find calls by:
Date range
Call type
Phone number
User / extension
This makes it easy to review recent activity or locate specific calls.
How to Download Call Logs
To export your logs:
Go to the Calls section
Use the filter (Any, Inbound, Outbound, etc.)
Click Download List
Save the file as a spreadsheet / CSV
Need Permanent Records?
Since logs are automatically removed after 60 days, downloading them regularly is the best way to maintain long-term records.
