How do I send an outbound text?

Unitel Voice’s SMS service works via email or an online dashboard—just reply to emails or log in to send and manage texts directly.

Unitel Voice’s SMS service is a text-to-email solution, meaning when someone sends a text to your toll-free number, you receive it as an email. You can reply directly to the email, and your response will be converted back into a text message—just be sure to leave the subject line intact.

Alternatively, you can manage and send text messages using the online texting portal.

How to Send a Text Using the Online Portal

  1. Click "New" (right-side) to start a new conversation.

  2. Enter the recipient’s phone number in the "To Mobile Number or Name" field.

  3. Click "Start" to begin composing your message.

  4. Type your message and click "Send" to deliver it.

Using the online portal gives you full control over your text communications, allowing you to initiate and manage conversations more efficiently.
