By default, Music On Hold is managed under Settings > Music On Hold, and the same selection applies to all your Unitel Voice numbers. However, you can customize the hold music for individual numbers if needed.
How to Set Unique Music On Hold for a Specific Number
Go to Settings > Your Numbers.
Select the Number You Want to Customize:
Click "Edit" next to the desired number.
Access Other Options:
Scroll down and click "Other Options."
Change the Music On Hold Setting:
Locate "Music On Hold."
Change the selection from "Use Default Settings" to your preferred option.
Save Your Changes:
Click "Save."
⚠ Note: It may take up to 2 minutes for changes to take effect.
Example Use Case:
Use music when calls transfer from your business's main greeting.
Use a ringtone for employee DIDs that forward directly to an employee extension for a more traditional experience.
This feature gives you more flexibility to provide different call experiences based on the number being dialed.
