Why Am I Seeing an “Uh-Oh” Message During Signup?

If you receive an “Uh-oh” message during signup, it means our system was unable to process your order automatically. This can happen for a few different reasons related to account verification, service availability, or fraud prevention.


Common Reasons for the “Uh-oh” Message

1. Your Location Appears Outside Our Service Area

Unitel Voice currently supports customers located in approved service regions.

If your internet connection or IP address appears to be coming from a country or region we do not service, your order may be automatically declined. This can sometimes happen if:

  • You are traveling internationally

  • You are using a VPN or proxy service

  • Your internet provider is routing traffic through another country


2. Your Account May Be Linked to a Past Due Balance

In some cases, our system may detect a connection between your signup information and an existing account with an unpaid balance.

This could include matches based on:

  • Email address

  • Payment information

  • Business details

  • Phone numbers

  • Network information

If this occurs, your order may be temporarily blocked until the issue is reviewed.


3. Our Fraud Prevention System Flagged the Order

To help protect our platform and customers from fraudulent activity, all new orders are reviewed by an automated fraud prevention system.

Orders may be declined for reasons such as:

  • Use of VPNs or anonymized internet connections

  • Use of prepaid, virtual, or anonymous payment methods

  • Significant mismatches between billing information and network location

  • Other indicators commonly associated with fraudulent activity

Please note that receiving this message does not necessarily mean fraud has occurred. It simply means the order could not be approved automatically based on the information provided.
