Can I receive text messages for voicemail notifications?

Yes! You can receive text message notifications for new voicemails using the email-to-text method. Most mobile providers offer this feature, allowing voicemail alerts to be sent as a text message to your phone.


How to Set Up Voicemail Notifications via Text

  1. Go to the Extensions Tab

  2. Choose the Extension to Modify, and click Edit.

  3. Find the “Where do you want voicemail emailed to?” section

  4. Instead of entering an email address, enter your cell phone number followed by your carrier’s email-to-text domain.

  5. Click Update to apply the changes.

  • If your phone number is 555-123-4567 and your carrier is Verizon, enter:
