How are voicemails deleted?

How to delete voicemails. Use the trash icon, info button, or action bar to remove messages from your inbox.

Voicemails in the Unitel Voice Virtual Phone System are automatically deleted after 60 days on a rolling basis.

You also have three methods to manually delete voicemails from your Inbox. These methods can be performed from the Inbox screen and are explained below.

Note: Some methods are only available on large-screen devices.


Method 1: Trash Icon (Desktop Devices Only)

  1. On a desktop or notebook, go to your Inbox.

  2. Click the Trash icon next to the voicemail you want to delete.

  3. Done.


Method 2: Info Modal Delete Button (Available on All Devices)

  1. From any screen size, go to your Inbox.

  2. Click the Info icon next to the voicemail you want to delete.

  3. Tap the Delete button.

  4. Done.


Method 3: Action Bar Delete Button (Available on All Devices)

Note: This option allows you to delete multiple messages at once.

  1. From any screen size, go to your Inbox.

  2. Check the box next to the voicemails you want to delete.

  3. Continue selecting additional messages if needed.

  4. In the Action Bar, click Delete.

  5. The system will delete the selected messages.

  6. Done.
