Can I keep my existing number and use it as my Unitel phone number?

Yes. You can transfer your local or toll-free number to Unitel at no charge. During the number selection step in the signup process, there will be the option to transfer a phone number. 

After we receive your online order, you will be prompted to complete and sign an LOA and return it to us,  along with a copy of your most recent bill for this number (proving you’re the rightful owner).

After we receive your signed LOA and bill copy, we will send this to your current provider, requesting that they give us control of the number.

Porting time for toll-free numbers is typically 2-3 business days, and 7-10 business days for local numbers. You should not expect any downtime during this process.
